About Project Go

Project Go is a comprehensive church management platform designed to help religious organizations streamline their operations, manage member information, coordinate events, and organize church-related files and documents.

Google Drive Integration

Project Go offers optional Google Drive integration to provide church administrators and staff with a centralized file management system. This integration allows users to:

  • Upload and organize church documents (bulletins, newsletters, ministry reports)
  • Store and manage media files (sermon recordings, event photos, presentation slides)
  • Share resources among church staff and ministry teams
  • Maintain a centralized repository for all church-related files

How We Use Google Drive Data

When you connect your Google Drive to Project Go, we request the following permissions:

  • drive.file: To create, read, update, and delete files that you create through our application within your designated church folder

Important: All files remain in your Google Drive. We do not store file contents on our servers. File operations are performed only when explicitly requested by authenticated users. You can disconnect Google Drive integration at any time, and no data is shared with third parties.

Google User Data Retention and Deletion

Data Retention: We retain minimal Google Drive data only as necessary to provide the file management service. Specifically:

  • Access Tokens: Stored securely and automatically refreshed as needed for service functionality
  • Folder References: We store only the folder ID you select as your church's Drive folder
  • File Metadata: Cached temporarily (up to 24 hours) for display purposes only
  • No File Contents: We never store the actual contents of your files on our servers

Data Deletion: You have full control over your Google Drive data:

  • Automatic Deletion: When you disconnect Google Drive integration, all stored tokens and folder references are immediately deleted from our servers
  • On-Demand Deletion: You can request immediate deletion of all your Google Drive integration data by contacting us at info@project-go.app
  • Account Deletion: If you delete your Project Go account, all associated Google Drive integration data is permanently deleted within 30 days
  • File Control: All files remain under your complete control in your Google Drive - we cannot access them after disconnection

Third-Party Access: Google Drive integration data is never shared with third parties and is used solely for providing the file management features you request.
